Injury Report: Gators Defensive Linemen Nick Alajajian, Kedric Johnson Out With Knee Injuries

Will Muschamp has recruiting just about every defensive line prospect in the nation since becoming the head coach of the Florida Gators. There are many reasons, but another one just jumped to the top of the list: injuries.

Defensive linemen Nick Alajajian and Kedric Johnson both suffered knee injuries and will miss significant time. Alajajian fractured his right knee and will watch the entire 2012 season from the sidelines. Johnson dislocated his right knee and may play this season, but will be out for the majority of the games. Neither was expected to make a big impact in 2012, but depth always takes a hit when injuries occur. The newcomers will have to get up to speed that much quicker now.
