Tim Tebow Marathon To Ring In The New Year

These days – and by these days I mean the last several years – there’s more than enough Tim Tebow to go around. The former Florida Gators’ superstar hasn’t seen a day go by without his name plastered throughout the media. Whether it is his supporters or his critics, everyone has something to say about Tebow and his quest to be a career NFL quarterback. The Tim Tebow phenomenon even transcends football at times. If you’re a fan, it’s a good thing. If you’re not, remember that no one is forcing you to read an article with his name in the title. Whatever the case, he’s everywhere and on New Year’s Eve and early New Year’s Day, they’ll be plenty of him to go around.

If you’re lucky enough to get the CBS Sports Network through whatever cable provider you pay to send you live images of sports, you’ll have a chance to watch four classic Florida games all featuring Tebow beginning Saturday, December 31 at 9:00 PM Eastern. Here’s the schedule:

Saturday, December 31 – 9:00 PM – Florida vs. Kentucky – 10/20/07
Sunday, January 1 – 12:00 AM – Florida vs. Alabama (SECCG) – 12/6/08
Sunday, January 1 – 3:00 AM – Florida vs. Georgia – 10/31/09
Sunday, January 1 – 6:00 AM – Florida vs. Arkansas – 10/17/09

For those of you up late on New Year’s Eve or up early on New Year’s Day, enjoy. That’s a whole lot of Tebow going on, but also plenty of good Gator memories as well. And for more Tebow, his Denver Broncos take on the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, but you already knew that.
